Going from Trial to Developer edition

My trial is about to end and I have purchased the developer edition disks

When the trial expires is there the opportunity to just enter the product key
or do I need to install. If so, the trial programs are under my C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server folder. Can I just use another folder for the developer software or will I need to do some backup and overwrite
Thanks for any help

You can do either

1. Install SQL DEV side by side with Trial version, which is supported.

2. Transfer all data in Trial version to SQL DEV.

3. Uninstall Trial version when SQL DEV's behavior is stable.

Or

Upgrade Trial version to SQL DEV directly. Make sure you select to upgrade under UI and choose the same instance name.

Before you perform any major operation, please back up your database.

|||Thanks. In the end i backed up, upgraded over and then reattached data
Seems to be working fine

Going back after "jump to report"

Hi,
I jumped from one report to enter (useing the "jump to report"
option).
How can I go back to the first report?
I tried with the "backspace" button and I tried useing
"javascript:history(-1)".
ThanksAre you talking about the development environement or deployed to the
server? Because the normal IE back button works when deployed to the server.

Sorry for not giving enough details.
I've deployed the report to my sql server.
The report is in a window that was opened with javascript with no
toolbar.
I've tried hitting the "backspace" button but it doesn't response.
Whan I try to right clivk the report with my mouse I see that the
"back" option in the popup menu is in gray.
Can it be because I have SP1 on my server?
Is that the problem?
Did you heared about a problem like that?
Thank for your help.

(the portal that ships with RS)?
Also, I am a little confused. When you say jump to report. What that means
is you have a report, then in that report you put an action on a textbox or
a cell in the table object (I then make the text blue and underlined so the
user knows to click on it). Is that what you are doing?

report. That the way you are doing this is preventing the back button from
working. If you try the same report from Report Manager my bet is you will
see that everything works as it should. Try the following as a test. Instead
of opening a report try opening up another website that has a link to click
on. And see if the back button works from you.
