I have one table that I cannot grant permissions on.
I have tried through Enterprise Manager and by executing at statement
like:
GRANT SELECT on dbo.YYY to ThisRoleName
I am db owner. I kicked everyone out of the database so I am the only
person in there. I can grant permissions to any other table in the
database. But when I try to grant permissions to table YYY the
request eventually times out.
Any ideas would be most appreciated!Run SQL Server Profiler to see what is going on while you grant permission

blocking your request.
Hope this helps.

Got err: There is already an object named '#TEMP' in the database.
I have the drop table #temp at the end of my stored prodedure but I think it
got executed half way and left the #temp there. I try executing the drop
table #temp but it says there is not #temp table. But if I run the alter
procedure again then I get the err message that the #temp table already
exist.
I tried stop and start the sql engine but that doesn't work. I restarted
the PC and it still won't go away. Does anyone know how to get rid of this?
Thanks, AlphaBefore you try to create the #temp table,
IF OBJECT_ID('tempdb..#TEMP') IS NOT NULL
DROP TABLE #TEMP
Of course, your initial problem should have gone away if you opened a new
session in Query Analyzer.

and I keep getting the same message that it already exist.

Global variable scope - across package
Hi,
I have a Main.dtsx file which is having executing some 10 .dtsx packages. Can I declare a variable in Main.dtsx and use it in all the other packages which it is executing?
Note: I am using Yukon April CTP
Thanks
HariniYes you can. This post explains how: http://blogs.conchango.com/jamiethomson/archive/2005/09/01/2096.aspx
